Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the expectations and responsibilities of parents, students, and partner agents when working with Oxford Elite Homestays. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms.

 

1. General Principles

Oxford Elite Homestays provides high-quality homestay placements, guardianship, and related educational support services in collaboration with trusted partners. All parties are expected to act in good faith, maintain clear communication, and uphold the wellbeing and safety of students at all times.

 

2. Payments and Fees

  • All fees must be paid promptly and in full according to the invoice terms.
     

  • Late or non-payment may result in the suspension or termination of services without refund.
     

  • Prices and payment schedules may vary depending on the specific service or package selected.

 

3. Disclosure of Information

  • Parents, students, and agents must provide full and accurate information prior to placement, including:
     

    • Behavioural history
       

    • Medical or additional needs
       

    • Dietary requirements
       

    • Any other relevant personal, educational, or welfare information
       

  • Failure to disclose such information may result in termination of placement without refund.

4. Student Conduct and Expulsion

  • Students are expected to behave respectfully towards their hosts, peers, and educational institutions.
     

  • If a student is expelled or removed from a programme due to misconduct, breach of school rules, or other disciplinary reasons, no refund will be issued for accommodation, guardianship, or related services.

 

5. Non-Compete and Direct Dealings

  • Parents, students, and agents agree not to bypass or engage directly with any Oxford Elite Homestays host family, supplier, or partner for the purpose of arranging accommodation or related services.
     

  • Any direct arrangements outside of Oxford Elite Homestays’ agreement will constitute a breach of contract and may result in termination of services and potential legal action to recover losses

 

6. Notice Periods

  • Notice to terminate services will vary depending on the service selected (e.g., homestay, guardianship, short-term programme, etc.).
     

  • Specific notice requirements will be detailed in the relevant service agreement or invoice.
     

  • Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in forfeiture of fees already paid.

 

7. Liability

  • While Oxford Elite Homestays takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, it cannot accept responsibility for events beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of nature, transport delays, or third-party actions.
     

  • Insurance coverage for travel, health, and personal belongings remains the responsibility of the parent, guardian, or agent.

 

8. Data Protection

  • All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
     

  • Information is only shared with trusted partners where necessary to provide appropriate services and placements.

 

9. Agreement

By confirming a booking or placement with Oxford Elite Homestays, parents, students, and agents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
